The bill (Reg.No.10719) aims at refining several provisions of the Law “On Fight against Terrorism” in the part of specifying terms and the list of specially authorized bodies pertaining to fighting terrorism, as well as legal determination of principles to neutralize financial operations connected with terrorist activity.

 

The bill specifies subjects directly involved in fighting terrorism within their jurisdiction:

 

Security Service of Ukraine:

 

Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine;

 

central executive authority in the field of defense;

 

central executive authority on civil protection;

 

central body of executive power on financial monitoring;

 

central executive authority in matters of the state border monitoring;

 

central body of executive power in the sphere of customs;

 

central body of executive power in the sphere of execution of criminal penalties;

 

intelligence agencies of Ukraine;

 

State Protection Management of Ukraine.
